We love to work with our clients to create eye catching, meaningful, and effective branding. We utilize tried and true techniques to get to the nitty gritty of who your company or organization really is. Then we set to work, or as we like to say “We hone your vision to the heart”. Here are a few of the lasting identities we’ve created so far!
Helios developed the new identity for Vintage Garden Kitchen when it was a part of the Arc of Greater New Orleans. When Chef Leo took over the business and expanded it to 2 locations, we continued to work with him. Here, along with the logo, are a direct mail piece, a double parallel fold menu, and the in-store menu, which is a giant magnet board. You can see the menu board in action on their website which we created in a Squarespace template for them.
Environmental Law Alliance Worldwide (ELAW) is a global alliance of attorneys, scientists and other advocates collaborating across borders to promote grassroots efforts to build a sustainable, just future. Work shown includes a 30 page, hand stitched book featuring environmental victories around the world. Helios Creative also designs brochures, event notices, postcards, and a quarterly newsletter for ELAW.
The Oregon Truffle Festival is known world wide as a food and wine festival not to be missed. Each winter, as Oregon white and black truffles become ripe in the Willamette Valley, people come from near and far to partake. We have worked with the festival since their inception in 2006. Each year we create everything graphically necessary for the festival including menus, signage, banners, advertising, and more. Pictured here are the logo, the cover and one spread of the 2019 Recap, and a full page ad.
Slayden Homes is a construction company with a reputation for modern craftsman style homes. Our most recent project for Slayden is their responsive website. This site’s purpose is to give potential customers a place to dream their new home. It is photo rich, light, and easy to navigate online brochure.
Queen Scarlett (aka Joan Gold Cypress) is a well known character in Eugene Oregon. As an ‘old’ Slug Queen, she reigns supreme in many realms, one of them being childrens book author. We created the logo and website, publish the biweekly email and blog, and designed her first book with illustrations by the talented Lola Buckwald.
Profungi makes health enhancing, high quality medicinal mushroom and herb products. We created their logo, color coding palette, label packaging, and a Made in Oregon with Care mark for their materials. As a small, family owned business, it is important to them to be as local and organic as possible, even while gathering wild ingredients. Brent Hefley, Profungi’s owner, is tech savvy and built his own website. It is worth the trip to find out more about these incredible products!
Located on 24 tranquil acres in the heart of a Quaker community, Pendle Hill is a study, retreat, and conference center welcoming all for Spirit-led learning and community. Because of the beautiful campus, the marketing materials we create for them often feature the natural setting. For the capital campaign we created a presentation kit with 8 page booklet, inserts, letterhead and business cards. On-going work includes magazine and web ads, event fliers and brochures.
Unique Eugene (UE) was originally formed in 1999 as a cooperative of local business owners. In 2016 UE transitioned into a larger, more broadly inclusive Eugene Independent Businesses Alliance (EIBA) and asked Helios to create and introduce to the community a fresh new logo. Our solution included a “spokes e” which doubles as a stand alone icon. A membership brochure, door decals and a dedicated ad campaign touting shopping local followed. In 2018, UE turned to digital coupons for their holiday promotion, and the ads took to FB and Instagram.
When Columbia Power and Water System came to us they were about to launch PowerNet, a city-owned fiber optic network. The challenge? To brand the new service and update the “old” power system logo to be compatible. The hybrid solution of waves and power bolt, with distinct color blends, was the winner. Our complete roll out of the brand used everything from direct mail to out-of-home advertising and internet ads. We loved working with CPWS and have done a number of follow up promotions. These included concepts, art direction, design of direct mail, newspaper, web ads, bill inserts, envelopes, and on-premise signage.
WellFuture is a maker of health products for children and babies. In our long relationship we have worked with them on identity, labels/packaging, websites, photography, and more. Helios loves working with companies that make a positive impact. Thank you WellFuture!
